Following the conclusion of the group stage of the FIFA Women's World Cup China 2007, the 8 quarter finalists have now been decided.
The Asian Football Confederation can already claim the FIFA Women's World Cup a success having three of their four finalists progressing to the knock out stage of the tournament. UEFA also has three with North and South America qualifying one team each.
It was a nervous wait for some of the teams following a 24 hour delay due to a typhoon in the region.
The next phase of the tournament will be played over the 22nd and 23rd of September:
22/09/07
Germany V North Korea
USA V England
23/09/07
